If your goal is to have something that looks like a laser, then this is the “toy” for you. When I first mounted the laser, it was working well, every adjustment was working properly with a tactile click. After three times out with it, just shooting and not running and gunning, the Illuminator began walking away from the dot. I tried adjusting it back down and wouldn’t you know it, the tactile click is completely gone and now I have a stupid lopsided illuminator. Also, I’ve been in the army infantry for 12 years and know how to use IR lasers. Would be nice if this company would rectify but I’m not holding my breath.
Potted NGAL. Excellent laser, both visible and IR. The illuminator is crisp, bright and adjustable. Runs on (1) CR123A battery.. Nice fit on Picatinny rail (40 ftlbs). The visible laser on low is tight out to 500+ yards. Under NODs, the IR laser is the same. The high setting on both laser and illuminator is full power (30-50MW). These airsoft companies about to get the military contractors sued again. They cannot justify the prices they're charging for laser aiming modules.. And for folks talking about durability, anything that will destroy this thing will destroy you along with it.

I’ve only used it once, but the quality seems good so far. The LA23 tape switch needs a mount. Seems solid.
This thing is just phenomenal for the price, only thing I wish is the little stickers said danger instead of caution like the real L3 Harris one. Worth every penny
